Welcome to a unique European university! The Alba-university is a great place for mature students who want to be outstanding and inspiring leaders instead of MBA’s. We offer innovative (part-time, executive) Master programs that connect business science with authenticity, psychology and spirituality, resulting in new ‘inclusive’ scientific knowledge and most of all: wisdom. Hence the name of our specialty: ‘Inclusive Science’. Our Master programs are different and have an unforgettable and lasting effect. We practise Inclusive Science as ratio cannot do without intuition, facts & figures are worth more when combined with experience, leadership needs psychological knowledge of human behaviour and motivation; action needs reflection and growth is always accompanied by resistance. Thanks to this new holistic, inclusive approach we deliver wise European leaders who inspire their teams and make organisations flourish. The learning concept of ‘K-A-R-M-A’ You will not have to sit through mass lectures, you will not be given existing cases (this we call ‘second hand learning’). Any class will not have more than 25-30 students. In small groups of 5 or 6 fellow-students from your class, you will learn from your own cases and examples from work, all levels through our KARMA learning method: K - KNOW – you will study the current theories & models at home before coming to the university; A - ACT – you will discuss these theories with your fellow students and you will practice it in your sub group, and draw from your experience at work; you will share each others wisdom; R - REFLECT / RESEARCH – reflection on new discoveries from practical work; you will do research and gain new knowledge and insights; M - MEANING – you will add new meaning to what you have learnt and experienced; A - ADAPT THE ART – you will integrate your new knowledge, insights and meanings in new theories & and practical adaptation. You’ll have mastered the Art and you’ll have gained new knowledge and wisdom. What you’ll learn in this cycle at Alba-university, you will never forget.
